The month of November is marked on most writers' calendars as their end-of-year push to begin (or finish) writing their book. If you are familiar with NaNoWriMo, you will know how writers use this annual challenge to accomplish their end of year goals, whatever genre they are writing.
What is NaNoWriMo?
"National Novel Writing Month began in 1999 as a daunting but straightforward challenge: to write 50,000 words of a novel during the thirty days of November. Now, each year on November 1st, hundreds of thousands of people around the world begin to write, determined to end the month with 50,000 words of a brand-new novel. You may know this mass creative explosion by the name National Novel Writing Month, or NaNoWriMo—but that's not all that NaNoWriMo is!"
